We would like to introduce ourselves as a Government Registered organisation enthusiastically organised and dedicated as a promising and enterprising G-R-O-U-P working in the development of Education, Tourism, Health and Environment in the rural areas of Nepal.

Discover Nepal was established in Nepal in 1998 through an agreement with the Social Welfare Council and the Chief District Office, Kathmandu district. The aim of Discover Nepal is to provide opportunities for the involvement in the development process, and to practically contribute towards the socio-economic development of the country.

Supplementing the Nepalese government’s formal education system through two different programmes - an education programme and an environment programme - we offer a wide range of awareness raising non-formal activities. The education programme is presently working in the following districts; Bhaktapur, Banepa, Lalitpur, etc.

Objectives of Discover Nepal

1. To create awareness among the local people on the importance of issues related to health.
2. To create awareness among the local people on the importance of issues related to environment.
3. To educate the local people so that they can identify anti-social elements.
4. Creation of healthy environment for overall development of the country.
5. To conduct seminars, conventions, meetings etc. for the promotion of Tourism in Nepal in collaboration with His Majesty's Government of Nepal.
6. For the promotion of tourism, conduct trainings for the people who are directly or indirectly involved in tourism, and to run effective programmes.
